A chain pizza takeaway in Slough could stay open much later for hungry people hoping to get their pizza fix.
The Pizza Hut at the Three Tuns junction in Bath Road, Slough has been open for years serving its range of pizzas, sides and more for collection and delivery.
The takeaway is currently open from 11am to 11pm from Saturday to Wednesday, with closure at 12.30am on Thursdays and Fridays, according to its website.
Now, the operators of the takeaway IISAA Limited have applied to stay open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays and midnight for the rest of the week.
For the hours to be extended, IISAA Limited needs licensing consent from Slough Borough Council as any sale of food from 11pm to 5am is a licensable activity.
You can comment on the application by emailing licensing.slough.gov.uk. The deadline for representations is Wednesday, September 18.
Pizza Hut can be ordered for collection and delivery via its website, or via the delivery websites Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo.
There is also a Pizza Hut in Meadfield Road, Langley, which is open from 11am to 11pm each day. The chain first came to the UK in 1973.
According to a report by Restuarant Online, the company turned a £3 million loss in 2022 into a £1.75 million operating profit according to its latest financial results.
Pizza Hut closed its restaurant at The Oracle shopping centre in Reading in September 2022, with the last remaining restaurant in Berkshire being at The Point in Bracknell, with the rest being takeaway locations.
