Several people have been dealt with by police for driving offences in Slough this week.

Thames Valley Police's West Neighbourhood Team and the South Neighbourhood Team worked in partnership with TVP Roads Policing using ANPR technology to target criminals using the Road Network across the West Area of Slough.

It took place on Tuesday, November 26 and the team dubbed it a 'a very successful day for the officers'.

Overall, the team had five no tax seizures, four drivers reported for no tax, five vehicle seizures for no insurance, five no insurance tickets issued, one disqualified driver reported, and one arrest for drug drive following.

There was also one driving failing to stop for police, two tickets issues for mobile phone offences, six tickets issued for not using seat belts, two community resolutions for drug possession, five vehicles dealt with for not having in date MOT, and clone stopped which further investigation confirmed that this was the original vehicle.

Writing online, the force said: "We would like to remind road users to check their vehicle documentation to ensure you are road legal.

"You must have a valid and up to date Driving Licence, Insurance, Tax and MOT. Your vehicle is not legally on the roads if it does not have all four correct items of documentation."
