A weekend cinema service at Pinewood Studios is coming to an end amid low audience numbers.
Pinewood Cinema has announced it is ending its weekend cinema service as of February 23 as the event is 'no longer viable'.
The facility, based at the world-famous studios on Pinewood Road, Iver, said it would now offer more targeted screening for the community.
The announcement was met with sadness by some on social media with one customer writing: "It was absolutely great while it lasted."

In a statement on its website, the cinema said: "It is with regret that our weekend cinema service will sadly come to a close at the end of February due to sustained low audience numbers rendering it no longer viable.
"The cinema service, hosted at weekends in The John Barry Theatre at Pinewood Studios and The Korda Theatre at Shepperton Studios, will have final screenings on Sunday 23 February 2025.
"Going forward, both venues will continue to provide occasional, more targeted cinema screenings for the community, as well as charity screenings and events.
"These events are typically better attended and resonate well with their audiences.
"We recognise that this will cause some disappointment to attendees of the weekend cinema screenings, but we hope you will enjoy the events we will schedule and host in the future."

The final Pinewood Cinema screenings are due to take place on the weekend of February 21, 22 and 23 with films including We Live in Time, Nosferatu and Babygirl due to be shown between now and then.
But some residents have said they weren't aware of the events, questioning how the studio went about marketing the weekend screenings.
One social media user, Debbie Carter said: "That’s a shame! Maybe it wasn’t marketed/advertised well enough?
"Several people I’ve mentioned it to, weren’t even aware it existed."
Another resident, Lisa Mellon said: "I had no idea there was a cinema...I've lived in the area for over 15 years.
"Your marketing department has missed something to advertise this more widely...sad to hear it's now closing."
The John Barry Theatre, formerly Theatre 7, was renamed in memory of the legendary James Bond composer.
John Barry scored 11 James Bond films, including From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice.
The Korda Theatre is the largest theatre at Shepperton with a capacity for 36 people.
