A new psychological thriller is set to keep theatre audiences on the edge of their seats.
The Mantrap is heading to the Theatre Royal Windsor this spring, running from Tuesday, April 21, to Saturday, April 25.
Presented by Tabs Productions in association with Theatre Royal Nottingham’s Classic Thriller Season 2026, it is described as a 'riveting contemporary thriller' that promises twists and turns until the final moments.
Freely adapted by Sean Aita OBE, the play is based on Robert Thomas’ original work Trap for a Lonely Man.

The story centres on Daniel Edwards, who is searching for his missing wife after an argument at their remote Cornish holiday cottage.
When a woman claiming to be his wife returns, Daniel insists he has never met her before.
The play then asks the audience to consider: Is this a case of identity theft, amnesia, or something more sinister?
Each night’s performance begins at 7.30pm, with matinees at 2.30pm on Thursday and Saturday.
Tickets range from £23.50 to £38.50.
