A drama club is preparing a special tribute to honour its late president with a show full of laughter and memories.
The Iver Heath Drama Club is dedicating its summer production to long-serving member and president John Williams, who died in December 2025 aged 67 after living with Parkinson’s disease.
Mr Williams, from Slough, was involved with the club for nearly 30 years and appeared in countless plays and pantomimes over the decades.
Carol Campling, club treasurer, said: "John was our club president for several years, so it feels perfectly fitting that we dedicate our summer show to him, in his memory."

This year’s performance, Return to Hotel Doom, is a comedy sequel to a play in which Mr Williams once appeared.
Lee Hall, the play’s author and director, said: "John appeared as Major Horseradish in the original Hotel Doom play a decade ago.
"His kindness offstage and his impeccable comedy timing are fond memories we all treasure."
The two-act show will be performed on Saturday, June 13, and tickets are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/ihdc.
In further tribute to Mr Williams, the club will collect donations during the event for the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead branch of Parkinson’s UK.
John’s widow Joanna Williams, who met him through the drama club, has taken on the role of club president in his memory.
