Windsor Great Park has been named the UK’s ninth-best spot for a summer picnic.
The study, conducted by Jessops, analysed the UK’s largest parks using data from local council websites.
Each park was evaluated based on two factors: the number of Instagram hashtags associated with the location, and the average maximum summer temperature between June and August.
Both metrics were normalised against the highest value in the dataset, with scores then rescaled so that the highest-ranking park achieved a final score of 100.
