Norden Farm is set to host a night of classic comedy.

An Evening of Comic Strip with Peter Richardson and guests is scheduled at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on October 6 at 8pm.

Tickets are £21.50, with an additional £1.90 booking fee.

The special event will include screenings and a Q&A session with Peter Richardson and Phil Cornwell.

Since the early 80s The Comic Strip have produced many classic comedy films.

Audiences can look forward to seeing Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson, known for The Young Ones and Bottom, Jennifer Saunders of Absolutely Fabulous fame, The Vicar of Dibley's Dawn French, and stand-up comedian Alexei Sayle.

The screening schedule is packed with some of the finest moments from these legendary stars.

Highlights include clips from Bad News, Mr Jolly, and Fistful of Travellers Cheques featuring Rik Mayall.

Also on the list is the Red Nose of courage, where Ex PM John Major (Ade Edmonson) runs away from the circus to become an MP.

Under pressure from his Dad, the circus manager (Alexei Sayle) Major is obliged to work evenings as part of a clown act, even when he’s Prime Minister. But then he falls for the Opposition Leader (Dawn French).

The best of Stella Street will also be shown, with scenes from the hit BBC series starring Phil Cornwell and John Sessions, complemented by a live Q&A with Peter Richardson and Phil Cornwell.

Four Men in a Car, a comedy of errors featuring four salesmen on a nightmare journey to Swindon, will also play.

This film stars Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer, Ade Edmondson, and Peter Richardson.

This event offers a chance to relive the magic of these timeless comedies and engage with those who brought them to life.
