A further inquest hearing into the death of a 19-year-old woman who died following a crash on the M40 near High Wycombe is due to take place this week.

Nadia Weronika Plewa, who was born in Isleworth, west London, on January 11, 2007, suffered serious injuries in the crash, which happened on the London-bound carriageway between Junction 4 (High Wycombe) and Junction 3 (Loudwater) at about 8.40pm on Saturday, February 21.

The crash involved a grey motorcycle, a black Volkswagen Polo and a blue Hyundai Tucson.

Miss Plewa was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she died three days later.

A pre-inquest review hearing is scheduled to take place at Beaconsfield Coroner's Court at 3.10pm on Tuesday, October 27.

A previous hearing at the same venue in July heard that the medical cause of Miss Plewa's death had not yet been determined and that investigations into the circumstances of the collision were continuing.

Senior coroner Crispin Butler said there had been no charges or court proceedings and confirmed enquiries remained ongoing involving Thames Valley Police and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Following the collision, a 20-year-old man from Maidenhead was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving before being released on bail while enquiries continued.

At the time, investigating officers appealed for witnesses and dash-cam footage from anyone travelling on the M40 or around the Handy Cross roundabout shortly before the collision.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police, quoting reference 43260088366.
