Pupils at Eton Wick School in Sheepcote Road are taking part in the 40 Acts Challenge this Lent.
The ‘challenge’ was invented for churches, youth groups, schools, or families.
This week’s school newsletter carries details of how children can play their part by performing a different act of kindness every day, such as making a new friend or carrying out chores without complaining.
The school is also gearing up for one ‘act of kindness’ that always goes down well - the Easter tea for grandparents, happening on Tuesday, March 27 at the school at 2pm.
Great aunts or uncles, retired friends or neighbours are also welcome.
As well as entertaining the guests the children will be showing off their home made Easter bonnets, while parents and friends of the school serve tea.
Everyone gets involved in the Easter Bonnet parade including the children in the nursery school - with a prize for the best bonnet.
