A NURSERY celebrated a landmark occasion with a Mad Hatters Tea Party last week.
Millwood House Day Nursery marked 25 years since it opened with the party led by an Alice in Wonderland entertainer on Friday last week.
An afternoon tea was held at the nursery in Collinswood Road, Farnham Common, with more than 100 children and parents taking part.
Two giant birthday cakes were presented and a graduation ceremony was also held for the 20 children leaving the nursery this summer to start at primary school.
Margaret Chaplin, the nursery manager, said: “Children leave to start school every summer thus allowing the progression of the current children through the nursery from Babies to Teenies to Tweenies to the Pre-School Room.
"We have a lot of parents who have already signed up the siblings of the graduating children. However there are still some vacancies for September.”
