THE next stage of a consultation into future development across South Bucks is set to take place.

The Chiltern and South Bucks local plan will enter the preferred options stage following a public consultation earlier in the year.

A wide range of sites were considered as part of the initial consultation, as the councils jointly assess areas which can be developed to meet housing needs until 2036.

The councils joint cabinet will meet on October 12 to determine the details for the preferred options consultation, with further exhibitions being held across the area to view the options affecting each area.

Provisional dates have been set for the exhibitions, which will take place during the six week consultation from October 31 until December 12.

Exhibitions will be held for Farnham Common, Farnham Royal, Stoke Poges and Fulmer at Farnham Infant School on Thursday, November 3 from 6-9pm, and for Wexham, George Green and Middle Green at Harvey Hall on Wednesday, November 9 from 6-9pm.

For Iver Heath, Iver and Richings park an exhibition will be held at Iver Village Hall on Saturday, November 12 from 2-5pm, and for Burnham, Taplow and Dorney at Burnham Park Hall on Thursday, November 17 from 6-9pm.

The dates are subject to agreement at the cabinet meeting on October 12.
