BUSINESS Moves recorded a sixth win in the Premier Division this season after a 37-33 victory against the Redbacks last week.

It was a tight affair at Kidwells Park but Business Moves edged each of the first three quarters and took an eight-goal lead into the final break.

The Redbacks rallied in the last quarter and held their opponents to only five goals but, despite a gallant effort, could not pull back the deficit.

The win means Business Moves stand in fourth position in the league table while the Redbacks remain bottom and without a victory.

Due to injury and illness there were only two games in the Premier Division, and in the other match leaders Windsor beat Scotch 53-24.

There is no change at the top of Division One as leaders Magpies produced a dominant performance to defeat second bottom Eclipse 44-16.

Wokingham remain in second place after beating LNC Royals 35-27, while Phoenix Pinkz stay one point behind in third following their 39-7 victory over bottom side Girl Friday.

Sevens jump up to fourth position after winning their game against Black Magic. Sevens took a lead early on in the first quarter and steadily increased their goal difference to eventually win 33-25.

The closest match of the night was between Apple Travel Green and Sparks. The Greens ended the first quarter with a two goal advantage and maintained throughout the second period, before pulling further ahead in the third and fourth quarters to take the five points with a 25-21 victory.

With former Division Two leaders Phoenix not playing last week, LNC Flyers and Risers both took the opportunity to leapfrog them in the table.

Risers had an easy 29-8 win against bottom side LNC Sapphires, while the Flyers beat Whistle Warriors 28-19.

New leaders Woodley continued their perfect winning record with a 43-15 victory against second bottom Henley.

The game of the night went to Genesis and Firebirds. Genesis started off the stronger and were ahead all the way, finishing the third quarter 19-16 ahead. The Firebirds however had a magnificent last quarter and managed to pull the scores level at 24-24.

Sharks stayed at the top of Division Three with a 21-17 win against Crazies, but second placed Nettlebed Stingers kept the pressure on with a 31-17 victory over Blue Magnets.

Apple Travel Red were too strong for bottom side ANTS and won comfortably 29-11. Meister beat Bluebirds 24-12 whilst Blaze just held off Red Rockets 31-29.

In Division Four, Woodley Heralds had control of their game against The Crew early on a took a 26-9 win to stay top of the league table.

Equal on points but with a game in hand, second-placed Blitz were victorious 24-19 against a determined Dean Dreamers.

Bumblebees earned themselves a third win of the season in a high-scoring against bottom side Abbvie, winning 44-32.
