A BRILLIANT spell from Ziya Mohamed (5-32) helped Boyne Hill turn their Division One game at Stoke Green on its head as his side won a low-scoring thriller by 38 runs.

Gagan Singh (4-31) and Zulfi Butt (3-28) looked to have bowled Stoke Green into a strong position as they knocked over the visitors for just 126, but a shocking effort with the bat then left them well short.

Stoke Green visit Reading tomorrow (Saturday), while Boyne Hill are at home to Slough 2nds.

North Maidenhead returned to winning ways with a 51-run home win against Falkland.

Imran Butt made 58 of Maids’ 267-9, Shahzad Ashgar adding 41, and Sahaan John then bagged 5-48 as the visitors were knocked over for 216.

Division Two

Sean Phillips-Williams top scored with 63, but it was not enough for Maidenhead & Bray to avoid a two-wicket defeat at home to Kidmore End in Division 2a.

The hosts were bowled out for 154, and Kidmore edged home on 156-8 with five overs to spare.

Maidenhead & Bray visit Hayes this Saturday.

Windsor blew a strong position as they went down to an 85-run reverse at Marlow.

The home side were in trouble after being reduced to 88-5 in the face of an excellent opening spell by Jamie Hall (4-47), but excellent innings from Nick Paskins (58 from 44 balls) and No. 9 Gary Lines (64no off 74) helped them recover to 291-9 in their 50 overs.

Windsor slipped to 26-2 and 48-3, and despite brave efforts from Adam Weston (44) and Jeevan Singh (54), they were bowled out for 206.

Windsor are at home to rock bottom OMT this weekend.

Division Three

Farnham Royal’s mixed start to the Division 3a season continued with a 44-run loss at Purley on Thames.

Eshwar Dutta grabbed 3-53 as the Potters totalled 238-8, and despite the youngster also making 69 with the bat, his side were bowled out for 194.

Farnham Royal host Wooburn Narkovians tomorrow.

Division Four

A magnificent 114 not out by Simon Jessup fired White Waltham to an easy nine-wicket Division 4a win at Bagshot 2nds.

Luke Beard (3-31) and Rahul Mohindru (3-37) bowled well to restrict the home team to 192-7, before Jessup and skipper Chris Metherell (52) helped their side home in 32 overs.

White Waltham are home to Sulhamstead on Saturday.

Boyne Hill 2nds were beaten by six wickets at home to early-season table-toppers Binfield.

Don Pike made 52 as Hill were kept to 185-8 in their 45 overs, Chris Morgan taking 4-41.

All of the Binfield batsmen looked in form, but it was Eddie Lee who played the decisive innings of 65 to help his side to victory with four balls to spare.

In Division 4b, an unbroken eighth-wicket stand of 79 between Joe Heaton (44no) and skipper Rob Court (35no) proved decisive as Taplow eventually beat North Maidenhead 2nds by 90 runs.

Court (3-24) capped a fine all-round display.

Taplow visit Marlow 2nds this Saturday.

Wraysbury’s excellent start to the season coninued as they hammered Marlow 2nds by 133 runs.

Naeem Baig (82no), Arslan Yaseen (72) and captain Jayesh Mohan (42) fired Wraysbury to 269-6, and Yaseen then claimed 3-50 to help dismiss Marlow for 136.

Wraysbury visit Princes Risborough tomorrow.

Division Five

Farnham Common put in a clinical display to annihilate Chesham 3rds by 10 wickets in Division 5a.

Sahil Dogra (3-1) and Jawad Hassan (3-13) helped skittle Chesham for just 39, and it took just 4.4 overs for the hosts to knock the runs off.

Farnham Common visit Maidenhead & Bray 2nds this Saturday.

Captain Chris Dixon (55) and Tim Hale (55no) helped Windsor 2nds reach 227-5, but they went down to a four-wicket reverse as a John Hewitt-inspired Maidenhead & Bray 2nds (228-6) squeezed to victory with just two balls to spare.

Pavinder Bhachu’s wonderful 112 provided the impetus for Stoke Green 2nds (227) to beat Chalfont St Peter (128) by 99 runs. Raja Ifraz Khan also took 4-30 for Green.

David Goodman’s superb 4-32 fired Boyne Hill 3rds (139-5) to a five-wicket triumph at home to Falkland 3rds in Division 5b.

Matt Carter (54) and Leo Bangs (40) impressed in the run chase.

Division Six

In Division 6a, Sai Midha (51) and Hassan Ibrahim (46) played lead roles in Wraysbury 2nds’ total of 216-8, and they wrapped up a 52-run success against Barnes Wild Geese by bowling their opponents out for 164.

Andrew Bryant’s 63 proved pivotal in securing Farnham Royal 2nds (197-7) a three-wicket win against OMT 2nds (195-5).

Nafees Khan (86) and Ahmad Chaudhary (79no) batted well to take Farnham Common 2nds to a massive 341-7, and they wrapped up a colossal 289-run win against Harefield 3rds by skittling the hosts for just 52.

Division Seven

Skipper Andy Mills (70) played a vital role in helping Taplow 2nds (218) to a 43-run Division 7a triumph against Theale & Tilehurst 2nds (175-9).

Muhammed Nasir’s unbeaten 74 led White Waltham 2nds (205-4) to a six-wicket success against Royal Ascot 3rds (203-6).

In Division 7b, Maidenhead & Bray 3rds (121) lost to Ickenham 3rds (123-7) by three wickets, despite Mohammed Jalal recording brilliant figures of 5-34.

Division Eight

Anish Pandey scored 52 for Boyne Hill 4ths (163), but they lost to Bagshot 3rds (167-3) by seven wickets in Division 8a.

Stoke Green 3rds (250) beat Kew 4ths (136) by 114 runs in Division 8b.

Paul Woodbridge was 65 not out for Windsor 3rds (171-8) in Division 9a, but Stefan Gordon’s stunning unbeaten 134 led Kidmore End 3rds (172-0) to a resounding 10-wicket win.

No. 9 Andrew Hayward was the only Maidenhead & Bray 4ths batsmen to reach double figures as they were 116-9 when losing to Thatcham Town 4ths (188-8) by 72 runs.
