Tabletoppers Cookham Dean lost for the first time this season as they were edged out by one wicket in a dramatic game at home to Falkland.

Patrick Castleden (83) and Christy Green (47no) were in fine form for the hosts as they were bowled out for 220, and despite Wasim Ahmed (3-64) and Sahan Nanayakkare (3-87) bowling well in trying to defend the total, Falkland scraped to 221-9 from the last ball of the match.

Cookham Dean host Cove tomorrow.

Boyne Hill squeezed past Gerrards Cross by 13 runs.

Hamid Riaz (61) and Simon Carter (52no) led the Hill to 210, and Sri Lankan Shalika Karuanayake (6-45) then spun the visitors out for 197.

Boyne Hill visit Falkland tomorrow.

Sahaan John (5-70) and Usman Ilyas (3-34) tried their best for North Maidenhead (139), but they lost by two wickets to Reading (140-8).

Maidenhead & Bray took the derby honours with a 92-run success at Windsor in Division 2a.

Joe Barker (67no) and Sean Phillips-Williams impressed for Maids as they reached 205-7, Tom Hartridge claiming 4-63 in his 18 overs.

Windsor never got going in reply, with Yunus Sert’s 6-53 helping bowl the hosts out for 113.

Maidenhead & Bray are at home to Marlow tomorrow, while Windsor travel to Eversley.

In Division 3a, Farnham Royal suffered a 45-run defeat at home to leaders Fleet.

Rohan Agrawal (4-58) and Ben Pulsford (4-95) bowled well for Royal as they kept their opponents to 216-9, but the hosts were bowled out for 171 as Ian Pulsford top scored with 68.

Farnham Royal visit Bagshot tomorrow.

Datchet 2nds had the better of their Division 3b draw with NPL, Sam Finn smashing 139 not out to lead his side to 272-9 before Calum Edgar’s 4-46 kept the visitors to 226-7.

Burnham 2nds (169) lost to Chiswick & Whitton (170-3) by seven wickets.

Captain Don Pike made a brilliant 109 to help Boyne Hill 2nds dominate their Division 4a draw at Bagshot 2nds.

The Hill declared on 235-8 from 49 overs, but despite Ajay Carvalo’s 6-75, Bagshot held on at 188-9.

Nikhil Jathavedan made a vital 66 not out to help White Waltham (192-9) hold on for a draw against Royal Ascot 2nds (259-5).

White Waltham travel to Reading 2nds tomorrow.

In Division 4b, table-topping Wraysbury annihilated Beaconsfield 2nds by 279 runs after an extraordinary batting performance.

Arslan Yaseen (158), Waqas Khan (122no) and Raheel Yasin (79) powered their side to a monumental 411-7 before they declared after just 43 overs.

Beaconsfield were never in the hunt and Waqas Afridi’s 3-36 helped skittle them for 132.

Wraysbury are at home to Hillingdon Manor tomorrow.

Rob Mettler top scored with 64 as Cookham Dean 2nds (225-8) beat North Maidenhead 2nds (198) by 27 runs, Amir Ashgar making 66 for the beaten side.

Taplow endured a 32-run defeat at Amersham 3rds.

The hosts declared on 244-8 after 50 overs – Habib Khan taking 4-87 – and then bowled Taplow out for 212, Khan completing a fine match personally with 59.

Burnham 3rds fell victim to an astonishing run chase as they lost their Division 5a clash at Chesham 3rds by two wickets.

Openers Adeel Ali (84) and Faris Ali (58) provided the backdrop to Burnham’s 281-8 declared in 50 overs, Tej Heer adding 54.

However, Chesham also enjoyed the batsman-friendly surface, and they reached 282-8 to win with a ball to spare.

Jawad Hasan (4-31) and James Wood (72no) did the damage as Farnham Common (124-2) beat Chalfont St Peter (123) by 10 wickets.

Windsor 2nds (83) were hammered by eight wickets at Ickenham 2nds (87-2), but Maidenhead & Bray 2nds enjoyed an 84-run triumph against Hayes 2nds.

Tom Wilding (95) and Elliot Pinkham (54) helped their side to 209-8, and Matt Armstrong’s 4-18 proved key in dismissing Hayes for 125.

Skipper Chirag Desai (76no) and Vishal Arjan (52no) led Stoke Green 2nds (157-2) to a convincing eight-wicket triumph at home to Kew 3rds (153-7).

In Division 5b, Thatcham Town 2nds (235-5 declared after 50 overs) battered Boyne Hill 3rds by 144 runs.

Wraysbury 2nds (299-4 declared from 45 overs) walloped Chiswick & Whitton 2nds (110) by 189 runs, Pav Midha striking an outstanding 130 not out before Asim Ibrahim took 7-66 in Division 6a.

Skipper Glenn Bucknell’s (89no) gritty knock secured Farnham Royal 2nds (213-8) a draw at Tring Park 3rds (244-6), but Ahmad Chaudhary’s 58 proved insufficient for Farnham Common 2nds (112) as they lost to OMT 2nds (118-6) by four wickets.

Burnham 4ths conceded their game with Binfield 2nds.

In Division 6b, a magnificent 132 not out from Edward Pettman led Taplow 2nds (239-4) to a six-wicket triumph at home to Reading 3rds (238-7).

Mike Salmon claimed 4-28 in 14 overs as White Waltham 2nds (132-6) drew with Wokingham 4ths (176-9) in Division 7a.

Toby Grant (61) and Omar Arif (4-29) starred for Datchet 3rds (197-8) as they beat High Wycombe 4ths (176) by 21 runs in Division 7b.

Christian Austin’s 54 proved in vain for Cookham Dean 3rds (170) as they were thumped by nine wickets by Ickenham 3rds (174-1), while Maidenhead & Bray 3rds (170) lost to Wooburn Narkovians 2nds (191-4) by six wickets despite Swapnil Manchanda’s 52.

In Division 8a, Jack Spencer Jones (5-34) helped Boyne Hill 4ths (120-3) cruise to a seven-wicket success at home to Royal Ascot 4ths (119), Owen Roberts making an unbeaten 75 to anchor the run chase.

Hayes 3rds (243-2) annihilated Datchet 4ths (100) by 143 runs, although Sandeep Bassi did make 55 for the visitors.

Farnham Common 3rds beat Marlow Park by four wickets in Division 8b.

Richard Thomas took 4-31 to restrict Park to 215-8 in their 40 overs, and skipper Fayez Ahmed (65no) then steered his side to victory with three balls to spare.

Gully Khan whacked 94 as Stoke Green 3rds (272-7) obliterated Beaconsfield 3rds (155) by 117 runs.

In Division 9a, Windsor 3rds (64) lost by seven wickets to Eversley 4ths (68-3), while Maidenhead & Bray 4ths won an absolute thriller by one run at home to Kidmore End 3rds.

Ed Stark’s 60 helped the hosts post 192-8, with Kidmore only able to reach 191-9 in reply.
