STOKE Green are now unbeaten in six matches in Division One this season after a home draw with Gerrards Cross on Saturday.

Gerrards Cross won the toss and elected to bat first, the visitors reaching 269-9 from 52 overs.

Opening batsman Jasraj Grewal top-scored with 60 runs from 72 balls and put on 66 with Andrew Morrison (35) for the third wicket.

Number six Billy Hunt made 30 and Feroz Baig added 27 batting at number five.

Irham Mughal was the pick of the Stoke Green bowlers with figures of 6-98 from 16 overs. His first wicket haul of the season included the dismissal of Grewal, Morrison and Baig.

The other wickets fell to Zulfi Butt (2-77) and Luqman Butt (1-39).

The home side reached 260-9 from 48 overs in response and for a share of the spoils.

Number five Butt top-scored with 75 runs from 54 balls and he put on 87 with Saqlain Basharat (39) for the fourth wicket.

Gagan Singh carried his bat through for 64 runs from 71, which included four boundaries and five maximum shots.

Ross Fyfe was the best of the six Gerrards Cross bowlers used with figures of 3-39 from 12 overs. He was supported by Jonathan Denning (2-25) and Daniel Hampton (2-51).

The win means Stoke Green remain in second position in the league table ahead of a trip to seventh-placed Falkland this Saturday (1pm).

Boyne Hill have dropped one place to fifth position following their eight-wicket defeat away at third-placed Cove last weekend and host Reading this Saturday.

North Maidenhead have moved up two places to sixth position after a 44-run victory at rivals Slough 2s, who have dropped into the two relegation spots.

North Maidenhead won the toss and chose to bat first, the visitors reaching 209 all out from 51.2 overs.

Number six Sahaan John top-scored with 58 runs, while opener Shafiq Khan made 55 and Qamar Shan 37 batting at number nine.

Naveed Akhtar was the best of the four Slough bowlers with figures of 4-53 from 20.2 overs, which included the wickets of Khan and Shan.

Yaqoot Rafiq claimed the wicket of John in his 3-66 while the other wicket fell to Humza Majid (1-47).

Slough managed just 165 runs from 37.5 in response despite a half-century from number five Raheem Akhtar (51).

Mohammad Awais made 33 runs batting at number four, before Naveed Akhtar and Nadeem Syed both added 15.

John was the pick of the North Maidenhead bowlers with his five-wicket-haul (5-66), which included the wickets of Awais and Akhtar.

Usman Ilyas claimed 4-59.
