ALL THREE Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (WSEH) Athletics Club members performed with distinction at the World Junior Championships in Finland.

Jake Norris won the hammer event with a new Great Britain Junior Record of 80.65m.

Bayley Campbell also made the final and finished in second position with a best throw of 71.28m.

Alex Haydock-Wilson was the lead off runner in the 4x400m relay which took the bronze medal.

WSEH had a number of athletes representing their county schools teams at the English Schools Championships in Birmingham and came away with a number of medals.

Temi Ojora won the inter girls high jump with a 1.75m clearance, while elder brother Tade Ojora was second in the senior boys 110m hurdles in 13.74 seconds (secs).

The other victory was gained by Marcy Winter in the senior 400m hurdles in 61.69secs.

Ayoola Babalola claimed the silver medal in the inter girls 100m in a time of 12.24secs, and Toby Makoyawa bronze in the 100m with 11.03secs.

Megan Ormond recorded a new personal best (PB) to finish fifth in the 2,000m steeplechase as Phoebe Fenwick ran 55.31 for the same position in the 400m She also set a new PB of 55.18 in the qualifying rounds.

Orla Brennan and Molly Jones finished in sixth place respectively in the 300m (40.36secs) and 3,000m (10:19.20).

Jodie Seventh threw 38.79m for seventh position in the javelin final.
