SLOUGH Town have suffered a first defeat in National League South this season after a 1-0 loss away at Chippenham Town on Tuesday.

The Rebels were unfortunate not to break the deadlock at Hardenhuish Park when a header from Ben Harris hit the post on 39 minutes.

Chippenham scored the only goal in the game as Natt Jarvis swivelled on the ball and hit home in the 68th minute.

Slough continue their search for a first win when travelling to Gloucester City this Saturday (3pm).

Windsor secured a first victory in the Hellenic Premier Division this season when beating Shrivenham 6-1 at Stag Meadow.

A goal from Keaton August gave the home side the lead inside six minutes, and the Cox Green Academy product doubled the advantage midway through the first half.

Windsor keeper and captain Hugo Sobte then saved a penalty from Nathan Blackford.

Shrivenham finished the first period the stronger as captain Sam Ockwell pulled a goal back, and was unfortunate to see a looping header hit the top of the crossbar.

However, Windsor midfielder Matt Stockill secured the two-goal advantage with a 25-yard strike one minute into time added on at the end of the first half.

The home side secured all three points after the break thanks to goals from Jamie Di Guiseppe, substitute Matty Woods and summer signing Daniel Roberts.

Windsor turn their attention to the FA Cup and an extra preliminary round tie against Highworth Town at Stag Meadow this Saturday (3pm).

Virginia Water began their first-ever season in the Hellenic Premier Division with a 1-1 draw away at Flackwell Heath on Tuesday.

The Waters fell a goal behind before ex-Flackwell player Liam Whyte equalised to secure a first league point.

Virginia Water make the journey to Shrivenham this Saturday (3pm).
