SLOUGH Jets have completed a hat-trick of wins in the National Ice Hockey League this season after an 8-5 victory against Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday.

A goal from Luke Dreelan gave the Jets the lead at the Slough Ice Arena, but Peterborough held the advantage at the end of the first period after strikes from Jordan Liddell and Nicholas Alley.

The home team stormed into a clear lead before the second buzzer as both Sean Norris and player-coach Lukas Smital bagged a brace.

Smital scored again early on in the final period to complete his hat-trick, before the Phantoms fought back to make it 7-5 as Conor Pollard netted three times in six minutes.

Slough had the final say in the match when Dreelan scored in the 55th minute to secure the victory.

The win means the Jets stand in sixth position in the league table ahead of a trip to the Slough Ice Arena from fifth-placed Solent Devils this Saturday (5.45pm).

Slough Sirens made it back-to-back wins in Division One South after a 6-1 victory against Peterborough Penguins on Sunday.

A goal from Jodie Attrill gave the Sirens the lead at the first buzzer in the Slough Ice Rink.

The home team extended their advantage further in the middle period with goals from Attrill and Elise Willoughby.

Attrill scored again to complete her hat-trick early on in the final stanza, before Clare Ledbury pulled a goal back for Peterborough.

Slough secured the win late on with goals from Jess Van Der Velden and Peri Edmiston.

The win means the Sirens have moved up to third position in the league table ahead of a trip to Streatham Storm this Saturday (6.30pm).
