BURNHAM manager Paul Shone has explained their club motto this season is to try and win all competitions while they are in them.
The Blues are on an incredible nine-match winning streak which includes victories in the Hellenic League Subsidiary Cup and Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup.
Burnham turn their attention to the Challenge Cup and a visit to The Gore from Almondsbury this Saturday (3pm), and Shone believes his side are chomping at the bit to get another result.
He told the Observer: “Almondsbury play at the same level as us and it will be a tough test no doubt, but I’m sure that whatever team I select will be wanting to put in a performance.
“If we perform like we did against Chalvey Sports in midweek we should progress, but there’s some hard work that we need to put in to make sure we do go through.
“I’ve said to the boys that we want to win everything we’re in, but our main aspect is to get out of the league and anything after that is a bonus.”
