THE Slough Town Under-10 girls team arrived in Reading on Saturday to play their final game for the Berkshire County Girls Autumn Trophy.
The match was extremely exciting and very competitive.
Both teams were well organised and well matched but, with 40 seconds remaining, the game finally had a winner.
The girls were elated and so were the parents.
Both teams should be very proud of how well they played and the good sportsmanship throughout in a brilliant game.
This is all the more impressive as the group of girls only came together this autumn to start playing in the Berkshire County Girls League and started their season with only five players.
They have gone from strength to strength and now have 10 players, which is great news as they move up to nine-a-side next season.
Slough Town Juniors offers coaching for girls aged 7-12 on a Tuesday evening at Arbour Park.
