BURNHAM kept up their impressive record in Hellenic Division One East this season after an 11-0 win against Abingdon Town on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

Dan Molloy and Oliver Harris both scored twice in the first-half at the Gore with further goals from Dean Allen and Aiden Higgs before the break.

Harris scored again after half-time to complete his hat-trick while Allen, Higgs, Ryan Tackley and Lucas Sinclair also found the back of the net in the second-half.

The win means Burnham remain top in the league table and now 15 points clear of the chasing pack which is headed by Thame Rangers and AFC Aldermaston.

The Blues turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy and a quarter-finals tie away at Sandhurst Town from Combined Counties League Division One this Saturday (3pm).

Chalvey Sports have climbed up to sixth position in the league table following their 2-1 win against Wokingham & Emmbrook last weekend.

A goal from Jason Marney gave the Stabmonks a narrow lead heading into the break at Arbour Park.

Holyport returned to winning form in the league after a 2-1 win against Penn & Tylers Green at Summerleaze on Saturday.

A goal from Levi Thackery gave the visitors an early advantage, but goals either side of the break from Steve Deverall and Chris Defranco secured victory for Port.

The win means Holyport are now in fifth position in the table ahead of a trip to Thame Rangers next Tuesday (7.45pm).

Langley made it back-to-back away wins in Division Two East following their 5-1 victory at rivals Taplow United last weekend.

The draw for the first round of the knock-out stages to the Division One Subsidiary Cup was made on Saturday and Burnham will host Wallingford Town.
