SLOUGH Town saw their National League South fixture against Gloucester City at Arbour Park postponed on Friday, writes Rob Stevens.

The match was scheduled for Saturday but the pitch, spectator standing areas and pathways at the ground were still covered in snow.

The forecast showed further snowfall on Friday so a decision was taken after discussions with various parties to postpone the game in the interests of the safety of supporters.

Slough return to action with a trip to Hampton & Richmond Borough this Saturday (3pm).

The Hellenic League took the decision on Friday to cancel the whole fixture program as they did not wish to put any person at rick.

Virginia Water return to action in the Premier Division with a visit to Stag Meadow from high-flying Bishops Cleeve this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham host Wallingford Town in the first knock-out stage of the Subsidiary Cup on Tuesday (7.45pm), before a visit to The Gore from Lydney Town in round three of the Supplementary Cup this Saturday (3pm).

Holyport travel to Wokingham & Emmbrook in Division One East on Saturday (3pm), while Chalvey Sports welcome Chinnor to Arbour Park.

Langley head to Ascot United in round three of the Floodlit Cup on Tuesday (7.45pm), before a return to action in Division Two East at Chinnor Reserves this Saturday (3pm).
