GOLDEN Eagles Under-13s gained some measure of revenge for their defeat to Maidenhead Warriors in the League Cup with a 4-2 in on Sunday.

The Eagles attacked right from the kick-off and were ahead in under a minute through Kyran Page.

Golden Eagles attacked on the break with gusto and scored two further goals before the break. Daris Krasnqi and Rashid Christian-Fares were the scorers.

Maidenhead re-organised at half-time and started well in the second-half. An attack down the right saw the initial shot saved by the Eagles keeper but Toby Wheeler was on hand to put the rebound into the back of the net.

Thoughts of a Warriors comeback were dashed minutes later when the Eagles scored a fourth goal, Christian-Fares bagging his second of the match.

Maidenhead were able to score a second goal in the dying minutes when Oscar Friedman found the back of the net from short range.

Windsor Royals Youth romped to a 10-2 victory over Thames Valley Youth.

In the U12 section, Langley Hornets White won 3-2 away at Delaford Colts Blue.
