SLOUGH Town have added two new strikers to their squad ahead of a return to action in the National League South away at Hampton & Richmond Borough this Saturday (3pm).

The Rebels had been looking to bolster their attacking options, with joint-manager Jon Underwood believing a run of two or three wins could see them back in contention for the play-offs.

Windsor striker Daniel Roberts has been a regular goal scorer in the Hellenic Premier Division this season and helped the Stag Meadow-based club reach the last16 in the FA Vase.

Roberts, 20, impressed the Slough management in a showpiece game at Arbour Park back in May and he has now signed National League forms with the club.

He has electric pace and an eye for goal, and might offer the Rebels something different to what they already have in the squad.

Roberts will remain a Windsor player until the end of the season but will be involved with the Rebels when appropriate in the hope he can bridge the three-division gap.

He will in the Slough squad at Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday, but will return to Windsor for their home match against Binfield next Tuesday.

The Rebels have also signed Tommy Wood on an initial one-month loan deal from League Two club AFC Wimbledon.

Wood, 20, did his scholarship with Burnley before signing for AFC Wimbledon towards the end of last season. He trains with their first-team squad on a daily basis.

Slough are also set to welcome back Lee Togwell, Chris Flood and Mark Nisbet, who were all unavailable for the defeat at Billericay Town.

Centre back Guy Hollis is doubtful with a slight knee injury, while Manny Williams and Nathan Smart will play for Basingstoke Town and Hartley Witney respectively.
