WINDSOR, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (WSEH) finished in a creditable third place of the nine competing clubs in the Alder Valley Girls League match at Aldershot on Sunday.

amassed a total of 646 points to finish behind match winners Reading (699) with Bracknell (688) the runners-up.

The best of the Under 13 (U13) sprint races came from Jazzy Summer, who was third over 75m in 10.6 seconds (secs). Debbie Coker went one better in the 150m to place second on 21.7secs.

The 600m saw Amy Cooper in third place in a time of one minute and 49.3 seconds (1:49.3).

There were some good results in the field events with Katrina O’Brien winning the discus with a personal best of 18.27m.

Hanah Kolawole was a good second in the shot with her 6.79m effort, with Lila Gardner third in the high jump after a clearance of 1.28m.

Liana Williams and Anna Babis set the trend in the U15 100m races with second place finishes in 12.0secs and 13.5secs respectively. Williams was back in action in the 200m event for third place in 27.1secs.

The 800m races saw a victory for Jessica Hatch in 2:32.2. Chanel Lovelock repeated the feat in the 75m hurdles with her time of 12.7secs.

Lovelock was back in action in the shot, this time taking third place with 8.99m. The same placing was gained by Mia Raczkevy Eotoss in the high jump with 1.40m.

The U17s was the most lucrative age group in terms of points gained by the club.

The 100m saw a winning double from Sophia Kapoor Sud (13.1secs) and Maya Kara (13.8secs).

Tia Hansford was second in the 800m in 2:30.7 with Abbey Masquelier similarly placed in the 80m hurdles in 12.4secs.

The 300m hurdles races also pulled in points for the club with Mei Ya Lambert third in the A race in 49.7secs, with Jamie Leigh White a clear winner of the B race in 50.5secs.

The jumps also racked up the points tally. There was third place finishes for Rachel Okoro (5.26m) and Kapoor Sud (4.66m) in the long jump. The latter went on to take third place in the A string of the triple jump on 9.73m, with Lambert winning the B string with a jump of 9.34m.

WSEH scored heavily in the throwing events. In the opening competition, the hammer, Liliana Burn placed second with her 41.10m effort. She then went on to take second in the discus with 28.26m. She was supported in the discus by Erin Oliver, who was second in the B string with her best of 18.76m.

The shot saw Sophia Martin take third in the A string with 9.34m, with Calia Logan-Griffin second in the B string with 8.57m.
