EVERSLEY moved back to the top of Division 2a following their four-wicket success at Windsor, writes Richard Ashton.

Stuart Lipo (3-32) was the pick of the Boars' attack as they restricted the hosts to 215-9 in their 52 overs, and Alex Davidson (78 from 70 balls) and Byron Hickman (48 not out from 34) then fired their side to victory with more than seven overs to spare.

Eversley host Tring Park 2nds this coming Saturday.

Second-placed Hurst thrashed bottom side Royal Ascot by 108 runs in Division 2b.

Skipper Lewis Smith made an unbeaten 71 and received useful support from Max Carroll (55) and Chris McCarthy (54no) as Hurst declared on 224-5 from 50 overs, and Smith (5-21) and paceman Nick Reynolds (3-27) then combined to knock Ascot over for 116.

Hurst travel to Bagshot this Saturday, while Royal Ascot are at home to Aldershot.

Youngster Mac Keast scored a sensational 107 not out as Finchampstead 2nds had the better of their draw at home to high-flying Beaconsfield.

Matt Eldridge added 41 as Finches posted 259-6, and they were able to restrict their opponents to 252-7 thanks in part to Nick West's 3-42.

Division 3a table-toppers Binfield marched on with a nine-wicket trouncing of Farnham Royal.

Matt Hayman took 4-23 as the home side were skittled for just 96, and Duncan Wessels then smashed 61 as Binfield reached 99-1 in just 15.2 overs.

Binfield are at home to Slough 3rds on Saturday.

Second-placed Wokingham 2nds kep their title dreams alive with a resounding nine-wicket romp of struggling Purley on Thames.

Callum Creighton bowled a superb spell of 7-30 as the Potters were routed for just 82, and Will Legg then struck an unbeaten 41 to push his side to 83-1 in a mere 13.2 overs.

Jed Crerar struck a brilliant 101 and Richard Reed made 61 as Finchampstead 3rds (262-8) salvaged a draw against Boyne Hill 2nds (303-3 declared in 46 overs).

Captain Adam Kite made 74, but rock bottom Bracknell (138) suffered another bad day at the office as they went down by 128 runs to White Waltham (266-7) in Division 4a.

Bracknell visit leaders Sonning this coming Saturday.

Jake Turner took 5-20 and Rakesh Patel then made an unbeaten 80 as second-placed Wokingham 3rds (156-8) scraped home by two wickets against Theale & Tilehurst (150).

Stars of the show for T&T were Rob Why (53) and Brian Cooper (3-42).

Harry Leach (65), Phil Wise (44) and Mike Judd (43) were all among the runs for Eversley 2nds (270-8 declared in 48 overs) crushed Falkland 3rds (170) by 100 runs to stay at the top of Division 5b.

Sam Glaze was the destroyer-in-chief with the ball, the left-arm spinner taking 5-32 for the Boars.

James Wensley's 86 guided second-bottom Royal Ascot 2nds (209-4) to a six-wicket victory against Slough 4ths (205).

Binfield 2nds (224-9) dropped to fourth place after drawing against fellow promotion hopefuls Henley 3rds (251), skipper Paul Edgington (61) top scoring for the home side.

In Division 6b, Sam Hawkes (54) and Connor White (51) both impressed with the bat as Hurst 2nds (206-6) beat Sulhamstead 2nds (105) by 101 runs.

Eliot Mitchell snared 5-51 as Finchampstead 4ths (198-4) overcame Reading 3rds (196) by six wickets, Khartik Khanti (65no) sharing an unbroken fifth-wicket partnership of 96 with Harry King (46no).

In Division 7a, Wokingham 4ths (151-9) stunned former leaders Yateley (150) by one wicket on the back of a brilliant spell from Alex Sharp (4-18) and a fine innings from skipper John Barker (52no).

Tim Howson took 4-52 and Disney Abeyesekara made 50, but Royal Ascot 3rds (201) were just edged out by six runs by Aldershot 3rds (207).

John Humphrey top scored with 59 for Binfield 3rds (165), but they proved no match for new leaders Wargrave 3rds (166-4), going down by six wickets.

Division 8a table-toppers Eversley 3rds (211-4) made it a perfect 10 wins from 10 games as they cruised past Boyne Hill 4ths (210) by six wickets.

A wonderful innings from 13-year-old Christian Taylor (92no) inspired Finchampstead 5ths (246-6) to an emphatic 99-run triumph against Bracknell 2nds (147).

Ralph Weeks struck 51 for Royal Ascot 4ths (129), but they slipped to a 58-run defeat against Thatcham Town 3rds (187-6).

Dilip Maringanti (6-18) produced an outstanding spell to inspire Wokingham 5ths (58-2) to an emphatic eight-wicket victory against Bagshot 3rds (57).

Dave Howorth (82) and Dave Kirby (55) both cracked half centuries for Eversley 4ths (216-4) as they beat Marlow Park (175) by 41 runs to secure another clean sweep of victories for the club.

Wokingham Oaks & Acorns (100) went down to a 67-run reverse against Maidenhead & Bray 4ths (167).
