THE Thames Valley Football Development League Under 11s fixtures got under way on Sunday and Delaford Colts Blues hosted Maidenhead Warriors in an entertaining match at Iver Recreational Ground.
Both sides played some good attacking football and created plenty of chances, and the result was uncertain until the final few minutes of the game.
In the U12s Division One, Burnham Juniors Jaguars White maintained their perfect start to the new season after a 5-2 victory over Townmead Youth.
Explorers are also on maximum points thanks to a narrow 2-1 win at home against Chalfont Saints Vipers. The Chalfont Saints Pythons got their first points of the season with a 2-1 victory over Thames Valley Youth.
In Division Two, S4K Wolves romped to a 6-1 victory at Langley Hornets and continue to lead the division. The other match was a high-scoring affair and saw FC Cippenham Bears beat Langley FC Youth 5-4.
