THERE was a reduced number of matches in the Thames Valley Football Development League on Sunday due to the school holidays, writes Rob Stevens.

In the Under 12s (U12s) Division Two, FC Cippenham Bears bounced back from a defeat the previous weekend to record a convincing 6-1 win at Frontline.

In the U8s section, FC Explorers Purple and Burnham Juniors Cubs Yellow competed in an entertaining match with both keepers impressing with their shot-stopping skills.
