HOLYPORT extended their unbeaten streak in all competitions to eight matches after a 6-0 win against Abingdon Town in the Hellenic League Division One East on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.
Port have not tasted defeat since the defeat at Marlow United back in mid-October and have now climbed to fourth position in the league table.
Goals from Andy Forisky and Lee Ovens gave the home team a clear lead heading into the break at Summerleaze Village. Forisky went on to score twice more in the second half to complete his hat-trick plus there was a brace from Fabian Driffill.
The victory completes a hat-rick of wins for Holyport, scoring 13 goals and conceding five, ahead of a visit from title-chasing Abingdon United this Saturday (3pm).
Chalvey Sports saw their four-match winless run in all competitions come to an end following a 3-2 victory against Thame Rangers at Arbour Park.
The Stabmonks had not tasted success since the win at Milton United in the league almost five weeks ago, but this return to form sees them stand in eighth position in the table.
Goals from Lewis Thorne and Craig Falconbridge gave Thame a clear lead on the half-time whistle. The home team recovered in the second half with strikes from Tom Williams, Tom Jansons and Jamie Earis, the winner coming in the final minute of normal time.

Langley suffered a sixth consecutive defeat in the league when losing 4-2 at Berkshire rivals Woodley United, leaving them third from bottom in the table.
A Max Laschok brace plus a goal from Ben Anderson gave Woodley a clear lead heading into the break at the Rivermoor. The visitors reduced the deficit with two goals in the second half from Jahdd Thomas, but Woodley had the final say when Laschok scored again to complete his hat-trick in the fourth minute of time added on.
