SLOUGH resumed their Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division Two West fixtures with a fine 2-1 victory at PHC Chiswick on Saturday, writes Dave Wright.

Their goals came from Kuli Matharu - who now has nine for the season - and Romnik Nijer.

Slough remain second from bottom in the table but just one point behind the side immediately above them, Woking.

This coming Saturday they host fifth-placed Staines at Upton Court Park.

Slough 2s lost 3-0 at home to London Wayfarers Pirates in Division Four of the London League.

As a result, they drop to third in the table but level on points with Spence Spitfires and just one behind new leaders Wimbledon 5s.

This Saturday's fixture is away to London Gymkhana 4s.

Slough ladies do not return to Investec League action until Saturday 1st February when they host St Albans, but they are scheduled to play a friendly against Division One South rivals Reading on Saturday.

Table-topping Slough 2s will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Trysports Three Counties League to 13 games against South Berkshire at Cantley Park in Wokingham on Saturday (10.30am).
