WINDSOR Slough, Eton & Hounslow Athletic Club’s ended their track season on a high by winning the plate final at the Alder Valley Boys fixture at Eton on Sunday.

The Under 17 category provided good points with maximums accrued in the 400m from Marvin Tchangua (56.1secs) and Xavier Aurelien (58.1secs).

The feat was repeated in the pole vault with Anthony Rice (3m30) and Abrham Melbourne( 3m20).

The 100m saw third places from Rory Naylor (12.2secs) and Jake Lewington (12.2s). Naylor also took third in the 200m in 25.3s, with newcomer Jas Kharay similarly placed in the B race in 26.7secs.

Tchangua notched his second win of the day in the 800m in 2m06.1 while Pavitt Kullar placed third in the 1500m in 4m39.1 with Amar Brabhania winning the B string in 5m01.8.

In the field events, George Smith won the shot with a pb of 8m70 and Naman Sharma the discus with 22m45. Rory Naylor finished second in the javelin with 31m35 while George Smith claimed second in the B string with a pb of 30m71.

Anthony Rice was second in the High Jump with 1m60.

At U15 level, there was a winning double in the 300m with Ekene Ijeomah (38.3secs) and Ilan Bisschops (42.4secs) scoring maximum points.

Ijeomah also won the 100m in 11.9secs with Kaif Rizvi in second (13.1s). Rizvi also placed second in the 200m in 24.8s, while Giovanni Sealy came second in the B race in 26.2secs.

Ethan Adisi-Musgrave stormed to victory in the 800m in 2m16.5s, with multi-eventer Jack Campbell second in the B string with 2m32.9. Harvey Williams won the 1500m in a personal best 4m28.7 with Sam Helsby second in the B string with 5m8.7.

Ilan Bisschops was second in the 80m hurdles in 13.1secs.

In field events, Lionel Owona equalled his best to win the A high jump on 1m73. Newcomer Dylan Val was second in the B on 1m40.

The busy Ijeomah was third in the long jump with 5m38. Giovanni Sealy won the B string with 4m64.

Bisschops threw a pb 8m65 in the shot for third place, with Jonathan Brew second in the B with 6m55. Brew also took second in the B string discus with pb of 15m63. Anthony Robbins-Kent came third in the A string with a pb of 19m12 and third in the B hammer with 13m35.

Campbell set a pb of 15m32 for third place in the A string.

In the U13 age group, the only outright victory went to Nick Mannke in the 75m hurdles in 13.8secs.

Ayomidi Awolesi took second in the 100m in 13.4secs. The high jump produced two second places for Oliver Lewis on 1m30 and Nafay Khan with 1m15. Khan also came second in the discus with a pb of 19m73, with Chris Williams winning the B string on his debut with 17m81.

The meeting ended with more WSEH success in the 4x100m relays.

The U17 squad of Kharay, Naylor, Smith and Tchangua won in 49.6s. The U15s team of Ijeomah, Rizvi, Brew and Sealy finished second in 51.4s while the U13s team of Adam Sfendia, Alex Pennycooke, Kai Norbron and George Worland were also second in 59.8secs.

There is now a short break before WSEH start their Winter Road and Cross Country Season.
