LEE EBDEN has been named as the new Chairman at Burnham Football Club with Alan Paris set to take over as manager from Mark Betts.
Burnham suffered a 1-0 home defeat against Thame Rangers in round one the Hellenic League Challenge Cup on Saturday, after which it is believed he quit his post at The Gore.
Paris has had an illustrious career playing for Slough Town, Watford, Peterborough United, Leicester City and Notts County.
He will take on the role as manager but it is unclear whether he will take charge of the home fixture against Ascot United tonight (Tuesday, 7.45pm).
Ebden will take over as Chairman on November 1 but it is unknown whether he will takeover the club.
