GEORGE Green Juniors keeper Taylor Gale scored the final goal with a fly-kick in a thrilling 3-1 win at Thame in the South Bucks Mini Conference Under-12 (U12) Red division.

The Juniors had to recover from falling a goal behind in the first half, but an equaliser from Sonny Smith was followed by a goal by Jack Timberlake after a great through ball from player-of-the-match Dan Mayling.

Gale then applied the finishing touch to make it three wins from three matches for the young stars.

George Green U13 Reds followed up their fine cup performance last week to beat Thame 5-0 in the Wycombe & South Bucks League.

Player-of-the-match Noah Collins opened the scoring before Donnie Ngugi slotted home the second. The third goal came after a goalmouth scramble with Sunny Hesmat bundling in.

The fourth was a Goal of the Season contender. Joe Porter-Bull laid the ball through to Collins who threw an outrageous dummy and riffled a shot into the back of the net.

Goal number five arrived when Zak Zaoui crossed from the right and the ball hit a Thame defender for an own goal.

George Green U13 Blacks went second in the Division Four league table after a fine 5-1 win away at Stokenchurch.

The Juniors when ahead inside three minutes with a stunning goal from Diogo Tagarro, who then set up the second for Aidan Range to slot home.

Stokenchurch pulled a goal back early on in the second half, but the visiting side added a further three goals from Tagarro, Rance and Sahil Khan.

George Green Juniors U16 Blacks lost 6-2 at home to Chinnor.

The away side raced into a six-goal lead before efforts from Huran Ahmed and Zayd Ait Fahim made the score a little more respectable.

George Green Juniors U16 Reds went down 2-1 at home to Chalfont Wasps with Ibrahim Herrezuelo Badry scoring their only goal.
