CHALVEY Sports created a piece of Slough footballing history when winning their first-ever match in the Arbour Park Community Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The Hellenic League club have moved into the multi-million pound facility from Chalvey Recreation Ground and with a plan to reach the Premier Division.

Chalvey are the defending Division Two East champions - ground grading denied them promotion last season - and maintained their unbeaten start to the new campaign with an 8-0 victory against Chinnor Reserves.

Carlton Chisambara was the star of the show with four goals in a man-of-the-match performance.

Bryan Taylor scored twice, Jamie Earis found the target, plus there was an own goal on an historic day for the club.

The win means Chalvey have moved up to third position in the league table with at least two games in hand on the sides above them.

Sports are away to East Berkshire Football League club Windsor Great Park in the Slough Town Senior Cup this Saturday (3pm).

Their next fixture at Arbour Park is scheduled for Saturday, November 25 when Sandhurst Town visit for a Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy tie.
