SLOUGH Town have confirmed the signing of Perry Coles from Farnborough following a seven-day approach for the striker.

The transfer was completed on Monday and Coles is expected to feature in the Rebels squad for the trip to Biggleswade Town on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Slough joint-manager Jon Underwood said: “Perry is a player we’ve seen on a number of occasions and he’s had a very good season so far.

!He’s a natural goal scorer who works incredibly hard and is a real live wire who looks to get in behind defences.

“We feel he will compliment the other strikers we have in the squad and is a great addition.”

The Rebels have suffered a second defeat in three matches when losing 1-0 to Banbury United on Saturday.

A goal from Ricky Johnson on 66 minutes secured all three points for Banbury at Arbour Park.

The defeat means Slough have fallen one place to sixth position in the Southern Premier Division, one point outside the play-off spots.

The Rebels travel to Biggleswade this Tuesday before a trip to fourth from bottom Kings Langley on Saturday (3pm).

Windsor suffered a 2-1 defeat to Hellenic Premier Division leaders Highworth Town on a rain-soaked pitch at Stag Meadow on Saturday.

A goal from Aaron Ferns gave Highworth the lead on 13 minutes, before Bradley Pearce equalised for Windsor in the 29th minute.

Ferns got his second goal 14 minutes from the final whistle to secure all three points for the visitors.

Windsor remain in ninth position in the league table despite the defeat ahead of a trip to title-chasing Thatcham Town on Saturday (3pm).

Windsor turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup and a quarter-final tie at home to MK Dons this Wednesday (7.45pm).

Burnham saw their match against Oxford City Nomads postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at The Gore on Saturday.

The Blues are bottom of the league table and travel to Bracknell Town this Saturday (3pm).

In Division One East, Holyport had their match away at Chalfont Wasps postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Crossleys.

Port welcome Wallingford Town to Summerleaze on Saturday (3pm).
