THEATRE Royal Windsor is offering the chance for just 200 people to break out of the theatre and to escape... to win show tickets and a hotel stay.

This is to celebrate 200 years of a theatre on the site and coincides with the theatre’s production of The Shawshank Redemption, featuring Patrick Robinson as Ellis ‘Red’ Redding, which runs from Tuesday to Saturday August 29.

On Saturday this week, from 10am participants will have six hours to make their way as far away from the theatre as they can without using any money.

When people have reached their furthest point they need to take a picture with their jailbreak card and something to show where they are e.g. a street sign.

This picture must be emailed to the theatre, posted on Facebook and tag the theatre or on Twitter with a set caption.

Every participant who completes the task will receive a theatre ticket to The Shawshank Redemption.

The winner will receive dinner for two and a private box with champagne for The Shawshank Redemption. This will be followed by bed and breakfast at the Christopher Wren Hotel.

Registration forms can be found on the theatre website and need to be emailed to Daniel.Herbert@kenwright.com before the day.

All participants are recommended to arrive at least half an hour before the start.
