THREE Slough homes were visited in the early hours of this morning by Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers.

Officers in marked vans visited the homes and found four immigration offenders at the following addresses:

· An address on Gloucester Avenue was visited at about 5.40am. Officers found an Indian woman, aged 28, who had overstayed her Tier 4 student visa.

· An address on Leeds Road was visited at about 6.45am. A 41-year-old Indian man was found to have entered the country illegally.

· An address on Botham Drive was visited at about 7.50am. Two Pakistani nationals were found. They were a 27-year-old man who had overstayed his Tier 4 student visa and a 29-year-old woman who had entered the UK by verbal deception.

None of the four were arrested, but were ordered to report to the Home Office regularly while their cases are progressed.

Assistant director Carla Johnson, head of the South Central Home Office Immigration Enforcement team, said: “We will continue to take action against those who are in the country illegally.

“We would urge members of the public with detailed and specific information about immigration crime to contact us.”
