TWO men from Langley who had £8,000 worth of cocaine seized from them have been jailed.

Nathan Knight, 26, of Willoughby Road, and Arjun Sandhar, 26, of St Marys Road were jailed for a total of seven years for possession with intent to supply cocaine.

The pair were found by police in a Tesco Extra car park in Slough at around 5.30pm on Friday, July 31 after the Audi A4 they were in was seen driving carelessly.

The car was searched and as the officer was about to search Knight he ran off, leading to a chase in which he was caught and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Sandhar was also arrested and his home was searched later that evening where a plastic bag containing drugs was found. Knight was searched in custody and wraps of white powder were found in his underwear.

Det Con Chris Cooper, of Local CID Slough, said: “I am pleased with the sentences which reflect the severity of the crime committed.

“In total, the estimated street value of the cocaine found and seized was in excess of £8,000.

“I am pleased that we were able to prevent the drugs from entering the streets of Slough and possibly further afield.”

Both sets of drugs were sent off for forensic testing. The drugs found in Knight's underwear were 33 wraps of cocaine, weighing 8.93g and Sandhar was found with 214 wraps of cocaine weighing 75.39g.

The pair were later charged with being in possession of drugs with intent to supply cocaine.

Knight was jailed for four years and Sandhar for three years.. They were sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday, April 25.

Both had pleaded guilty to the charge during an earlier hearing.
