A MAN has been jailed for three years after admitting just one charge of burglary.
Colin Kennedy, 40, of no fixed abode, broke into a house in Sherbourne Close, Colnbrook on June 20.
He had forced open the front door and then stole some electrical items.
He was convicted of one charge of burglary in a dwelling and sentenced to three years' imprisonment on Monday, October 23, at Reading Crown Court.
He had been charged on September 23.
Investigating officer Det Con James Rex, based at Slough police station, said: “I am pleased that Kennedy has received a custodial sentence, and I hope that during his time in prison he has time to reflect on his offence and seeks the help that he needs.
“This investigation shows the serious consequences of burglary, and should serve as a deterrent to anyone who is thinking of carrying out this type of offence.”
