ANOTHER man has been detained on suspicion of the murder of a Sunday league footballer.
The 21-year-old from London was arrested today, Monday, on suspicion of the murder of Ismail 'Izzy' Mohammed, 24, who died after being stabbed in Salt Hill Park, Slough on July 10. The man has also been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of another man who was at the scene with Mr Mohammed and was seriously injured. The man remains in custody.
Mr Mohammed played for Slough and Burnham side, Real Milan, and had been out celebrating his 24th birthday when he was stabbed in the summer.
Two men have already been charged with Mr Mohammed's murder.
- Oladapo Obadare, 25 and Ryan Fuller-Bent, 20, both of no fixed address, were charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder in September. Obadare faces an additional charge of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.
