PHOTOGRAPHERS have displayed their winning entries that will become part of a calendar celebrating Slough’s parks.
A competition by Slough Borough Council, has ended, with the winning 12 entries being printed on large canvases and displayed in The Curve.
The snaps have become part of a 2018 calendar, that has been given out for free to volunteers of organisations, such as Slough’s Park Friends groups.
A spokeswoman for Slough Borough Council said: “It was part of our Love Slough Parks campaign.”
One of the winners, Logan Reid, eight, won with his picture of a butterfly. Logan, who has autism, found roaming the parks for photo opportunities to be very enjoyable, and was ‘very excited’ to receive his canvas.
Cllr Joginder Bal said: “I’m really happy so many people participated in the competition. They all took lovely photographs which help to promote our wonderful parks.”
