SLOUGH Town will have to recover from falling a goal behind in the first half if their FA Cup journey is to continue this season.
Rochdale lead 1-0 at the half-time interval in the second round tie, but The Rebels have had their chances to level the scores before the break.
With an away tie at Doncaster Rovers in round three the prize for the winners, League One Dale took the lead thanks to a goal from Calvin Andrews after 13 minutes.
The visitors worked the ball out wide to Joseph Bunney whose low first-time cross from the left wing was converted by Andrews with his right foot and from inside the six-yard box.
Slough could have equalised just five minutes later when Matthew Lench header over from a Warren Harris cross.
Their only chance on target in the first 45 minutes was a Mark Nisbet volley at the back post from a James Dobson corner, saved by keeper Josh Lillis before Rochdale eventually cleared the ball.
Lee Togwell should have hit the target with his header from a Nathan Smart cross, but his guided effort was just wide of the right-hand post.
