TRAIN DELAYS are expected today (Thursday)
Great Western Rail (GWR) has warned that a defective track between Southall and Slough is causing disruptions between the stations. The train operator warned that trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.
The disruption is expected until 2.30pm today.
Trains from London Paddington and Southall running towards Slough and Reading are unable to call at Hayes, West Drayton, Iver, or Langley.
GWR advised customers planning on travelling from these stations towards Slough or Reading to get a train to Southall instead and change there, were service towards Slough and onwards will available.
Meanwhile, customers travelling from London Paddington or Southall to West Drayton, Iver, or Langley, should travel to Slough and change there, were trains running back to West Drayton will be available.
