A MAN has been convicted after calling O2 customer services and asking female employees for their sexual references.

Wqaral Haq, of Great Hill Crescent, Maidenhead, call the mobile phone company 141 times between December 4, 2022 and January 6, 2023 and asked to only speak to females.

He asked them their sexual references and their ages.

The 43-year-old was charged with one count of breaching a stalking order put in place by Reading Magistrates Court on August 24, 2021.

He indicated guilty to the breach on January 12 this year and was given a community order of 150 hours of unpaid work.

Haq must also complete 35 days of rehabilitation activity, pay an £85 court cost and a victim surcharge of £114.
