The best schools in Slough for Oxford or Cambridge University admissions have been revealed.
Langley Grammar School, on Reddington Drive, sent 58 per cent of its pupils to one of the country's best universities at the end of the 2019-20 academic year. They also sent 3 students to Oxbridge.
That's according to figures recently published by the Department for Education.
Burnham Grammar School has the next best record with 32 per cent of pupils going to a Russell Group university and 2 per cent of students headed for Oxbridge.
That's followed by St Bernard's Catholic Grammar School with 40 per cent going to a Russell Group and 2 per cent going to Oxbridge in total and Upton Court Grammar School with 40 per cent going to Russell groups and 1 per cent going to either Oxford or Cambridge.
On the other end of the scale, Slough and Eton Church of England Business and Enterprise College which is rated 'Outstanding' had three per cent of pupils get in to a Russell Group university (0 to Oxbridge).
Wexham School and Beechwood School also only sent four per cent of pupils to a Russell Group and zero to Oxbridge.
