Panto star Kirstie Campbell is all set to turn a fairy tale into reality - when she donates her hair to a leading children’s charity.

Kirstie will be having her hair ‘cut off’ on stage every night by a wicked witch when she stars as Rapunzel in CAST’s (Colnbrook Amateur Stage Theatre) Christmas panto at Colnbrook Village Hall in Vicarage Way next week.

Of course, it will not be happening for real.

But on the last day of the show, her 16 inches of hair will be cut off for real - and donated to the Little Princess Trust.

The Little Princess Trust uses donated hair to make wigs for children who have lost their own hair through illness.

Kirstie has done this before but says: “It’s no problem for me, it soon grows back.”

Rapunzel runs at Colnbrook Village Hall from Thursday, December 7 to Sunday, December 10.

Show times are 7.45pm on Thursday and Friday, 2pm and 7pm on Saturday, and 12 noon on Sunday.

Tickets can be bought at ticketsource.co.uk/cast-theatre-company.
