The year is being kicked off with a bit of pantomime magic as Wraysbury Players announce the launch of its newest production.

Wraysbury Players are putting together an "unforgettable adventure filled with laughter, excitement, and a sprinkle of magic" in the form of their newest pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. 

Set at Wraysbury Village Hall this January the family friendly show has something for all the ages.

Jack and the Beanstalk will see the much loved tale brought to life with comedy,  toe-tapping music, and interactive moments.

Director Lynn Holden said: "We're thrilled to bring this beloved story to the people of Wraysbury, Horton, Datchet and beyond. 

"Our talented cast has poured their hearts into creating a spectacle that will truly captivate and entertain."

The cast includes a line-up of local talents, including the return of Ronnie Glover as Jack and his father Steevan Glover once again appearing as the hilarious Dame Trott.

Jack and the Beanstalk will run from Thursday January 25 to Saturday, January 27. There is a matinee show at 2pm on the Saturday and all other shows start at 7.30pm.
