Theatre Royal Windsor is celebrating a "record-breaking run" as their Christmas panto comes to a close.

The 2023/24 panto saw Aladdin come to life in 97 performances from November 24 to January 14.

Slough’s own Robby Khela fronted the performances as Aladdin, while fan-favourites Kevin Cruise,  Steven Blakeley, Basil Brush and Anita Harris returned to the theatre.

The tale of good vs evil with added panto magic has been widely praised.

Now as the curtains draw to a close on the panto, a Theatre Royal Windsor spokesperson said: "After 97 performances, Aladdin flies out of Windsor tonight following a record-breaking run.

"Thank you to everyone who came to see the show for your support, and thank you to every member of cast, crew, band, and Front of House team for making it our biggest ever panto."

Theatre Royal Windsor has already got the wheels in motion for its next panto Dick Whittington which will be kicking off on November 22.

Tickets are already on sale starting at £18.50.
