A new McDonald's is set to open this week, bringing its big name to Taplow.

The restaurant in the Bishop Centre will launch on Wednesday, January 24.

It follows significant investment from local franchisee Richard Forte, who has helped create 50 new jobs.

The restaurant will be open for dine-in, takeaway, Delivery and Click & Serve, open 24/7.

The new 62-seater restaurant will feature table service, self-ordering kiosks, a dedicated delivery courier area and an outside patio.

The kitchen at this new restaurant will be upstairs and food will be transported downstairs to the service area via a transporter lift system.

Richard Forte, who now owns and operates 15 McDonald’s restaurants in the Reading area, said: “We are delighted to be opening a brand-new McDonald’s restaurant in The Bishop Centre in Taplow and can’t wait to see local customers, both new and existing, enjoy our services on offer.

"People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create. We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality."
