A Go Karting business in Berkshire has been named among the best in the world.

Absolutely Karting, located on Stafferton Way, Maidenhead, has announced it is a finalist in the categories of ‘Best Customer Service’ and ‘Innovator of the Year’ at the 2024 International Rental Karting Awards.

Naomi Smith, Group Manager of Absolutely Karting, said: “Customer service and innovation are something Absolutely Karting takes great pride in, so being recognised on the world stage is truly fantastic.

"To be honoured as a finalist amongst some of the best kart tracks in the world is a great reward for our staff, our track, and the local community.”

Recent innovations at Absolutely Karting have included the UK's first 'Glow Karting' experience, which combines high-speed go-karting with a UV and fluorescent light show to provide a unique driving activity.

The Award winners will be announced at the annual Fastline Karting Spectacular, due to be held in Barcelona on February 6 and 8.

Absolutely Karting are sharing a finals spot with tracks from the USA, the Middle East, as well as Europe and the UK.

Simon Heap, CEO of Fastline Group in the UK said: “We wanted to recognise the great work and efforts rental kart tracks around the world were doing.

"The tracks that are finalists were doing some exceptional things which really made them stand out from the crowd.”

Absolutely Karting is part of Absolutely Together, a self-funding charity that aims to put smiles on the faces of disabled children and their families.

The charity provides free leisure activities for families via funds generated through their leisure and fitness venues.

A win at the International Rental Karting Awards would help further their mission and allow them to bring more smiles to the families of children with additional needs.
